A GUIDE ON FILIPINOS AND HOW TO PLAY ONE:
As someone who is Filipino-born and raised, I’m surprised that the roleplaying world has zero Filipino characters. Especially because there are a lot of face claims with Filipino blood namely Vanessa Hudgens, Darren Cris, Jasmine Villegas and Zendaya Coleman to name a few. Filipinos have a great and diverse culture. Maybe it’s because we’re such a small group of people but I would love to see a Filipino character in a roleplay because we tend to have different views and opinions in life that can develop and give something that can benefit a story. This guide gives information on how to write a Filipino character. Take note that there is always an exception to every rule and not every Filipino is as I have described. I have merely pointed out the traits that Filipinos are most known for. I have also included helpful links to Filipino traditions and information on their culture as well. I really enjoyed making this guide and I hope you guys will find it useful in some way.
